Itinerary
Day: 1 Arrival in Gangtok
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
- Transfer to Gangtok (approximately 4-5 hours).
- Check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring M.G. Marg, the central shopping area in Gangtok.
Day: 2 Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.).
- If time and permits allow, extend your trip to Nathula Pass (14,140 ft., closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
- Return to Gangtok by evening.
Day: 3 Departure from Gangtok
- Visit attractions like the Rumtek Monastery, Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, and Flower Exhibition Centre.
- In the afternoon, head to Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok to catch panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges.
- Return to the hotel by late afternoon and enjoy leisure time exploring local markets or trying Sikkimese cuisine.
Day: 4 Departure from Gangtok
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your departure.
